JB Industries Donates to Support Military Families

June 16, 2015

JB Industries, a member of Affiliated Distributors (AD) and a leading US manufacturer of HVAC/R tools and equipment, today announced that it donated $10,000 to Operation Homefront to support the families of our service members and wounded warriors.

Operation Homefront assists military families during difficult financial times by providing food assistance, auto and home repair, vision care, travel and transportation, moving assistance, essential home items, and financial assistance.

In July 2014, JB Industries launched the Patriot 2-Valve Brass Manifold manufactured at its Aurora, Il facility. For each Patriot sold, JB will donate $1 to Operation Homefront. In the spirit of giving, many wholesalers have also joined the effort to support and have matched the donation. This January, JB launched their new Mini Split Kit which also includes the Patriot manifold to continue their support of military families.

“Since 1967, we have been committed to manufacturing American made products and what better way to give back than to those who make our freedom possible. We choose to partner with Operation Homefront because of its high rating with charity watchdog groups, where they have proven time and again that they ensure the money raised goes directly towards the families.” said Jeff Cherif, President of JB Industries. “Our industry rallying around this program shows our customers and end users not only value high quality American products but also support our troops. This is the first of many donations to come and we are proud the money is going to individuals who ask for so little but deserve so much.”

“On behalf of the military families we assist, we’re grateful to JB Industries for its support,” said Kari McClellan, Regional Director for Operation Homefront.  “The Patriot manifold offer is a great opportunity for JB Industries’ customers to show their appreciation for our men and women in uniform.”

JB Industries looks forward to continuing the partnership with Operation Homefront for years to come.
