Dallwig Brothers Building & Supply & V&H Inc. Trucks

June 13, 2016

Dallwig Brothers Building Supply is located in Salem, Oregon and was founded in 1980 by Susan and Gerhard Dallwig. With three generations still working within the business their passion to help others stands strong today!

In 2009, the Dallwig family was given unfortunate news that Clayton Dallwig-Black, the grandson of Susan Dallwig and owner of Dallwig Brothers Building Supply, had Type 1 Diabetes. With a desire to show support for her grandson they presented a check in the amount of $50,000 to the Oregon/Washington Chapter of JDRF, formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Creating awareness was also top of mind and so a boom truck was designed with the JDRF logo. According to the press release, the boom truck was designed and constructed by Baltimore-based Fascan International, the U.S. distributor of Fassi articulating cranes, and Wisconsin-based V&H. – Heavy Trucks. The mileage matters on this truck, because for every mile this truck travels a donation of $.25 will be made to JDRF.

The Dallwig family has taken supporting a cause to another level and we are truly proud of them and V&H Inc. Trucks. for their community support!
