NCE Coeur d'Alene's Sharing Tree

December 28, 2013

North Coast Electric (NCE) Coeur d'Alene decorated their Christmas tree early this December and placed it in a prominent spot at their counter. They adorned it with 75 tags which noted gift items for families in need such as pajamas, snow boots, dishes, diapers, snow pants, games, toys, personal hygiene, paper towels, cook ware, and many others.

Customers visiting the counter could pull a tag, buy the item, then place it under the tree. For each item returned, customers received one entry in a drawing for a big screen TV.

NCE associates gathered all the gifts and delivered them to North Idaho Violence Prevention Center, a non-proft organization that assists victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, so they could be distributed by Christmas Eve.

There were only 75 tags on the tree, but collectively NCE customers and associates were able to gather 125 different items because many people bought multiple gifts for one tag.

Thank you NCE Coeur d'Alene customers and associates for ensuring that 125 people had a gift this Christmas!
