AD to Host Second Annual Combined Finance & HR Summit

May 6, 2019

From June 3 – 5, 2019, AD will host Finance and HR decision-makers and rising stars from independent distributors across North America at the second annual combined Finance & HR Summit in St. Paul, MN.

The agenda was developed in collaboration with AD members and includes a keynote presentation by Aaron McDaniel on Engaging, Empowering & Retaining the Future Leaders of Your Organization; Innovation & Intrapreneurship; networking roundtables where attendees can best practice share on key HR and Finance topics; strategic expert-led concurrent sessions; a service provider tour and optional relationship-building leisure activities.

The 2018 Summit marked the first ever combined Finance & HR Summit, where attendees could choose between Finance and HR-related agenda items without having to declare a specific path. 99% of attendees said the 2018 Summit met or exceeded expectations and they would recommend the Summit to a friend.

Neil Cohen, AD SVP Human Resources commented, “The Summit is a fantastic opportunity for HR and Finance decision-makers to come together and network with other executives from best-in-class independent distributors. They will return to the office with practical information and action items that will help their companies stay ahead of the competition and in touch with market trends.”

Drew Moyer, AD CFO, added, “The combined nature of the Summit provides a unique opportunity for attendees to bounce between Finance and HR-related topics, all the while engaging in shared Finance & HR objectives such as leadership and M&A. This flexibility enables participants to ensure they attend sessions that will truly benefit them and address the challenges and opportunities their companies are facing.”

The AD Finance & HR Summit is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy for up to 10 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits for CPAs. In addition, this program is valid for 10.5 PDCs towards SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification. This program has also been submitted to the HR Certification Institute for review.
