The pride and passion of AD Mexico shine bright at Electrical spring meeting with record-breaking attendance
Playacar, QR – During its first in-person, in-country meeting in two years, the AD Electrical-Mexico division hosted the 2022 AD Spring Network Meeting-Mexico at the Royal Hideaway Resort from March 23rd – March 26th, 2022 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. More than 100 attendees from AD member and supplier companies from Mexico reunited, documenting record-breaking attendance and showcasing pride and passion at this year’s event.
Juan Carlos Zacarías, vice president of AD Mexico, shared that the division grew 24% in 2021 and praised members and suppliers for their resilience and commitment to growth.
“We are thrilled about how AD’s presence in Mexico has grown over time as we see our members and suppliers win in competitive markets. Our division’s success shows how we are stronger together and, when we collaborate at events like these, we can leverage our relationships into meaningful results.”
Throughout the meeting, AD members networked and shared best practices in their structured network groups made up of non-competing member companies. AD Mexico networks are filled with smart and successful entrepreneurs who are ready to share their ideas for growth and exchange information around important business management topics in the Mexican market coming out of the pandemic.
The meeting highlights included member and supplier business meetings and networking workshops to reinvigorate partnerships and build growth strategies. The event concluded with attendees practicing one of AD’s Fundamentals, Have Fun, by enjoying a mariachi band, an emblem of the cultural heritage and celebration of Mexican pride and community connection.
Luis Carlos Garza, CEO of ABSA and AD Mexican divisional board chair, expressed his gratitude to the membership.
“Thank you for being here. It’s a pleasure to be back in-person. Record attendance for this event is a testimony to the commitment of members and suppliers growing together and navigating through difficult times.”
“The opportunity to hear and learn from companies in similar situations as us proves immensely valuable,” said Jorge Olvera, Toluca branch manager at DIMEINT. “We always come away with new business approaches and opportunities to explore.”
At the member business meeting, Zacarías encouraged members to stay engaged with AD suppliers and take advantage of marketing initiatives and conversions. Zacarías stated, “Sharing best practices is the best way to learn from one another. Maximize your AD membership and leverage marketing tools to find new opportunities for continued growth.”
Zacarías stressed the importance of organic growth and announced that the division will be developing new councils and committees to support the expansion of the division and its strategic plans for growth.
